# Overview

USDT transfers on TRON without holding or burning TRX

Luganodes TRON Energy lets your platform send USDT on TRON without burning TRX for your own wallets or your customer’s wallets.

Every USDT transfer on TRON consumes energy. When a wallet has none, the network burns TRX instead, about 6.4 TRX per transfer or 13 TRX when the recipient has never held USDT at the current network price. We delegate the energy a transfer needs to the sending address, the transfer goes through and we reclaim the energy right after.

Built for exchanges, custodians, payment providers and wallet platforms:

* **Non-custodial:** Energy is delegated, not TRX. Your funds and keys stay with you.
* **Screened:** Every sender and recipient is checked against sanctions lists before energy is delegated.
* **Sized per transfer:** Each transfer is simulated so the energy matches what it actually needs.
* **Traceable:** Every delegation and reclaim has an on-chain transaction hash available through the API for reconciliation.

### Two ways to send

|

    | **Energy Rental API** | **RPC Broadcast** |
| -------------- | -------------------------------------------- | -------------------------- |
| You send | Transfer details (sender, recipient, amount) | Signed transaction |
| Who broadcasts | You from your own node | Luganodes |
| Timing | 10 second window to broadcast | About 6 seconds end to end |
| Integration | REST API calls | Send to our RPC endpoint |

### How it works

1. **Sign:** Build and sign the USDT transfer.
2. **Request:** Call POST /v1/rentals with the sender, recipient and amount.
3. **Screen:** We check both addresses against sanctions lists.
4. **Delegate:** We simulate the transfer and delegate the energy it needs to the sender.
5. **Broadcast:** Once the rental is active broadcast within 10 seconds. No TRX is burned.
6. **Reclaim:** The energy returns to us automatically when the window closes.

With RPC Broadcast, steps 2 to 6 happen inside our endpoint.
